Understanding News in the new era means recognizing and seize an opportunity while avoiding misinformation. Campers will learn of the career of journalism and reporting plus how to source and quote information. Students will interview performers of other camps and teachers. Campers will create small articles on camp activities and learn how to present and edit them for broadcast or podcast. This course will strengthen their comprehension skills.
