A natural next-step after Papercraft Engineers or for campers who love building detailed worlds.

Papercraft Engineers: Creative Paper Sculpting

Availability: Week 6 (7/27-7/31), Week 9 (8/17-8/21) | Ages 5-8

Paper becomes a powerful building material in this creative engineering-style camp. Campers learn folding, cutting, scoring, and assembly techniques to create 3D paper sculptures and structures. Students practice precision, patience, and spatial reasoning while improving craftsmanship. Projects are designed to be impressive and take-home ready, building pride and confidence. A recommended starter pathway into Architectural Sculptors for older campers.

Sketchbook Explorers: Intensive & Visual Journaling

Availability: Week 3 (7/6-7/10) | Ages 9+

A sketchbook becomes a personal creative journal in this higher-level camp. Campers combine drawing, writing, and mixed media to create themed pages that tell stories and express ideas. Students practice stronger composition, lettering, and layout design while developing personal voice. The camp emphasizes consistency and refinement, helping campers build a cohesive body of work. Designed as a follow-up to Sketchbook Explorers (Intro) or for experienced young artists.

Sketchbook Explorers: Introduction to Drawing & Sketching

Availability: Week 6 (7/27-7/31), Week 9 (8/17-8/21) | Ages 5-8

A daily sketching camp that helps campers build strong drawing habits and confidence. Students practice line control, shading, observation drawing, and beginner perspective through fun prompts. Campers learn how to use sketchbooks as a place to try ideas, learn from mistakes, and improve over time. Each day includes both technique practice and creative choice for personal expression. This is the recommended introduction before the older Intensive & Visual Journaling camp.

Watercolor Explorers: Artistic Expression Through Paint

Availability: Week 5 (7/20-7/24), Week 9 (8/17-8/21) | Ages 9+

An advanced watercolor camp for students ready to build control and personal style. Campers practice deeper techniques such as wet-on-wet blending, glazing, texture tools, and intentional composition. Students create a themed series of paintings and learn how to evaluate what works and what to adjust. The camp emphasizes planning and refinement so older artists can produce more polished results. A natural follow-up to Watercolor Wonders or for experienced watercolor students.

Watercolor Wonders: Splashes of Creativity

Availability: Week 3 (7/6-7/10), Week 7 (8/3-8/7) | Ages 5-8

A colorful watercolor camp focused on exploration and joyful creativity. Campers learn core techniques such as washes, blending, layering, and texture effects through playful projects. Students practice patience and control while still having plenty of freedom to experiment. Each day produces take-home paintings that showcase growth in technique and confidence. This camp is the recommended introduction before Watercolor Explorers for older students.

Art Masters Academy: Advanced Drawing & Painting

Availability: Week 3 (7/6-7/10) | Ages 10-13

A portfolio-style camp for older artists who want challenge and noticeable growth. Campers develop advanced control of value, color theory, and composition while working on longer, refined pieces. Students practice critique routines and revision strategies that strengthen final artwork quality. Projects emphasize artistic decision-making and personal style development. A natural progression from Art Innovators or an excellent option for dedicated young artists.

Art Innovators: Intermediate Techniques in Drawing & Painting

Availability: Week 6 (7/27-7/31), Week 7 (8/3-8/7) | Ages 7-9

An intermediate studio experience that helps campers refine technique and craftsmanship. Students practice shading, blending, proportion, and early perspective concepts through structured projects. Campers learn how to improve work through feedback and revision, building patience and pride in results. Lessons include skill drills plus longer project time to apply techniques with confidence. Designed as a follow-up to Young Art Explorers or for students with prior art experience.
